Xa Milne

Xa worked in publishing before getting a job on the Independent where she worked commissioning, editing and writing obituaries.

In 1995 she moved with her husband up to Scotland where she freelanced for Scotland on Sunday and wrote a regular column for the Family page of the Scotsman. The book and the column are the result of a life long interest in food and its provenance.

She learned her culinary skills with the renowned A.A. Gill.
